Shri Arun Yadav is the elder son of former President of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), father of co-operative movement in Madhya Pradesh, former Deputy Chief Minister Late Shri Subash Yadav and Smt. Damyanti Yadav. Shri Arun Yadav finished his schooling from Daly College, Indore and graduated with Bachelor of Commerce from S.S. Subadh Jain Commerce College, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Mr. Arun Yadav married to Dr. Namrata on February 9, 1999. He took forward his late father’s political and social legacy. He established various educational institutes for poor and needy children of Nimad region of Madhya Pradesh. Coming from a farmer’s family and having influential political background makes him a real sipahi of aam aadmi and enables him to understand and solve their problems.
At the age of 33, he reached as a young Member of Parliament of 14th Loksabha from Khargone on 10th July 2007.
At May 2008, he was nominated as member of Public Accounts Committee. He entered second time in 15th Loksabha after winning from Khandwa constituency.
He took oath as a Union Minister of State, Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises under former Prime minister Shri Manmohan Singh.
Later, he was given the responsibility of Ministry of Agriculture and Food Processing as a Union Minister of State.
On 3rd May, 2013, he was nominated as member of Backward Class Welfare Committee.
Currently, Shri Arun Yadav is President of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee and is committed to fight for general public on all fronts.
